Loss of words
It has been four days since the devasting earthquake in Japan. I am completely aware that I didn’t mention it in my last posts… not because of ignorance rather because I’m at a loss of words. When I turned my regular news channel on Friday morning and saw the breaking news of the devastation and broken hearts, families and homes, I couldn’t believe it and was at a loss for words. It’s impossible to even fathom the horror and sadness of what they as people and as a country are going through. My thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of them.
I am so incredibly greatful to have my family close to me … especially today because I got to spend the day with my parents … they came to visit!
I guess you should know that I talk to my Mom about twice a day and there are still times when I call and ask her what I should cook for dinner, for my family. Yes, I do realize that’s sad, don’t you worry. Do I care? Heck no.
We went out for lunch to Swiss Chalet, obviously. They never disappoint.
It was a good day and a beautiful and sunny one at that! What are you greatful for today?

Beautiful pictures!! I totally agree with you and how to put into words the devastation Japan is feeling. So heart breaking.
It really is.. it’s like a bad dream.
I always enjoy your calls unless my soap is on. I think your number of calls a day might be out a little. We had a great visit today and the weather was super!
