Soo pretty and dilemma

Beautiful eh?! I think so. It’s getting cooler out and the sun is setting sooner. I feel a little bit sad but I’m not going to complain…

Yesterday morning I had a great 45 minute run. I changed my route up a bit for some excitement. Today I ran a quick 6km or so and I’m so glad I kicked my butt out the door. I wasn’t feeling up for a run this morning but just knew I would feel so much better afterwards.
There’s a local race coming up on the 18th. I had planned on racing 5km since I am in no way shape or form for a half marathon BUT it turns out I can’t run it now. Boo. There is however the Niaraga Falls International Marathon on October 23rd…. there is no way I would run the full..remember, we already discussed that? I do however, really miss the environment and excitement of races (I do not however miss the outrages registration fees).. should I run the half marathon? That means I would only have about 5 weeks of training. Would that be stupid? Probably eh. I could maybe just wing it and have fun with the half. …. ohhh decisions, decisions. Any advice?

– I was looking forward to the 5km race on the 18th… but now I’m looking forward to this weekend to have some time with G-Man instead.

Sounds like you already have yourself talked into the half…go for it, but keep it fun!
And I curse you for pointing out the fact a Niagara Falls Marathon. I’ve been on the look out for interesting marathons…that one sounds interesting. Now to start stashing money for the race fee!

Come and run the Niagara Marathon.. or the half! It’s a FLAT, fast course!
